Does WillReady file the will with ADJD for me? Yes: how it works (2026)

3 min read · Updated 7 October 2026

Yes. WillReady files your will application with the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) for you, and it is included in the AED 1,299 price. You never share your UAE Pass PIN or password: you only approve the login request on your own phone, and we complete and submit every screen of the ADJD portal in your name.

This is the same way typing centres and law firms in the UAE file applications for their clients every day.

How the filing works

  • Our reviewing lawyer, an experienced lawyer with UAE experience, confirms your will.
  • You print it, sign every page, and send us a scan with copies of your passport, Emirates ID and residence visa.
  • We agree a time. You approve the ADJD login request on your UAE Pass app.
  • We complete every screen of the ADJD application, upload your documents and submit it. You receive the request number.
  • A court clerk reviews it. Once approved, you pay the AED 950 court fee directly to ADJD, and we book your video-call appointment.
  • You attend a short video call with the court's notary, and your will is registered.

What stays with you

Three things only the will-maker can do: sign the will, pay the court fee (WillReady never collects it), and attend the video call with the notary. Everything else on the portal, we do for you.

Prefer to file it yourself?

You can. Our step-by-step guide shows every ADJD screen, and we are on WhatsApp if anything looks different. Most people take about 30 minutes.
