This Privacy Policy explains what personal data WillReady FZE ("WillReady", "we", "us") collects when you use willready.ae and our will-preparation service, why we collect it, where it's stored, and what rights you have over it.
The short version: we collect what we need to prepare your will and run your account, we store it securely, and we never sell it or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database provided by Neon, hosted in Singapore. Connections between your device and our servers are encrypted.
Some information you enter — like your in-progress answers to the questionnaire — is kept in your browser's local storage on your own device until you submit it to us, for example to generate a preview or complete payment.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We share the minimum data necessary with a small number of service providers who help us run WillReady, under contract and only for that purpose:
We do not send your data to ADJD or any other court. You submit your own signed document to ADJD yourself, using your own UAE Pass account — that submission is between you and the court.
We may disclose information where required to by law, or to protect our legal rights.
We keep your data for as long as you have an active relationship with us, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see "Your rights" below — and we'll do so unless we're required to keep it for a legitimate reason.
Depending on where you're based, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these, email hello@willready.ae. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe, consistent with the UAE's Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and any other law that applies to you.
When you give us details about a beneficiary, executor, guardian, or child, you confirm that you're entitled to share that information with us and that it will only be used to prepare your will document. If someone you've named wants to know what data we hold about them, they — or you, on their behalf — can contact us at hello@willready.ae.
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in after you verify your email. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
As noted above, your questionnaire answers are held in your own browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, until you submit them to us.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and hashed verification codes. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take this seriously and will notify you if we become aware of a breach that affects you.
We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. Details about your minor children are provided by you, the parent, only where relevant to naming a guardian in your will.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
For any question about this policy or your data, email hello@willready.ae or message us on WhatsApp.
