Terms of Service

• We prepare a bilingual (English/Arabic) civil will document on the official Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) form, ADJD-NM0723-07-03, based on the information you give us.
• We file your will application with ADJD for you through the ADJD portal, as described in section 3, and support you through the court's own process.
• Every will you purchase is reviewed by our reviewing lawyer, an experienced lawyer with UAE experience engaged by WillReady, before it is filed with ADJD. That review checks the document for completeness, internal consistency and fit with the ADJD form, and flags anything you should correct. It is a review of the document, not personalised legal advice on your estate, tax or family circumstances; where the reviewer considers that you need such advice, we will tell you so.

• WillReady does not recommend or select beneficiaries, asset distributions, executors, guardians, governing law, or any other substantive provision of your will. All such selections and instructions are made solely by you. Our guidance and filing are procedural (how to complete, sign and file the document) and are never a personalised legal recommendation.
• We are not ADJD, DIFC Courts, or any other government or court body, and we have no authority over how they review, approve, or notarise a will.

This civil-will service is intended for non-UAE, non-GCC-national expatriates. If you are a UAE or GCC national, this route is not available to you, and you should seek independent legal advice on your options.

You must meet ADJD's legal-capacity and age requirements applicable at the time your will is filed. As a practical measure, our online questionnaire requires you to be at least 21 years of age.

By using our service, you confirm that all information you give us — about yourself and about anyone you name (beneficiaries, executors, guardians, children) — is true and accurate, and that you are entitled to share it with us.

• You complete a guided online questionnaire. Nothing is charged at this stage, and you can save your progress and return later.
• You can preview a watermarked version of your document before paying.
• Once you pay, you get an unwatermarked bilingual PDF, plus guidance on adding Arabic names and your signature.
• Your document is sent for review once you have confirmed the Arabic names and signed it in your account. Within two business days of that, we send you the reviewing lawyer's confirmation or comments by email. Any change you make to your document as a result is free.
• Filing is included: at a time agreed with you, you approve the ADJD login request on your own UAE Pass app, and we complete the application screens, upload the documents you give us (your signed will and copies of your passport, Emirates ID and residence visa) and submit the application in your name. You never share your UAE Pass PIN or password with us. We use that access only to file and follow up your will application, including booking your notarisation appointment, and we sign out when done. If you prefer, you can file it yourself with our step-by-step guide.
• You remain responsible for signing your will, for paying the ADJD court fee, and for attending the court's online notarisation appointment yourself. Filing your application does not make us your legal representative before the court.

• Single will: AED 1,299. Couples (mirror wills): AED 2,199.
• This fee is separate from ADJD's own court registration fee (currently AED 950 for a single will, AED 1,900 for mirror wills). You pay that fee directly to the court — we never collect, hold, or have access to it.
• Payments to us are processed by a third-party payment provider, Ziina. We do not store your full card or bank details.
• You only pay once your document is ready to download.

Free revisions: you can request changes to your will document at any time before it is filed with ADJD, at no extra charge.

Our satisfaction guarantee means we keep working on your will until you are happy with it: free changes until it is registered, and free corrections if ADJD asks for one because of our preparation. It covers our work on your document and does not change the refund terms in this section.

If ADJD rejects your submitted will because of an error in how we prepared the document, we will correct it and provide you with a revised version for resubmission at no additional charge.

Where a rejection or a required change stems from something other than our preparation — for example, information you gave us that was inaccurate or incomplete, a change in your wishes or circumstances, changes ADJD or the law makes to its forms, procedures, or requirements after your document was delivered, or eligibility grounds personal to you — a corrected or updated document may be new work. If any charge would apply, we will tell you before doing anything.

Our fee covers preparing your document, the lawyer review and filing your application. It does not include the ADJD court fee, which you pay directly to the court and which is subject to ADJD's own policies, not ours.

Beyond the rights described above, our fee is for a digital document generated and delivered to you instantly on payment, so it is non-refundable once your final document has been generated. Nothing in this section limits, replaces, or excludes any remedy or refund you are entitled to under applicable law — including UAE consumer-protection law — where our service is defective or not as agreed.

• Giving us accurate, complete information about yourself.
• Making sure any details you give us about other people — beneficiaries, executors, guardians, children — are accurate, and that you're authorised to share them with us.
• Keeping your account and any access details secure, and approving a UAE Pass login request only at the time agreed with us.
• Reviewing your document carefully before signing it and before it is filed with ADJD.
• Your own compliance with any other laws that apply to you, including in your home country.

Our questionnaire, software, document templates, and branding belong to WillReady FZE — excluding official ADJD forms and any other third-party or governmental materials, which remain the property of their respective owners. You may not copy, resell, or repurpose our materials.

The completed will document we generate for you — populated with your own information — is yours to use for its intended purpose.

We prepare documents, file applications and provide administrative guidance; we do not control, and cannot guarantee, ADJD's decisions, timelines, or the outcome of the notarisation process.

Subject to the carve-outs below, our total liability to you in connection with this service — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — is limited to the fees you have actually paid us for the service concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity.

• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
• In particular, the limitation above does not apply to liability arising from our fraud, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct, or to liability for a harmful act that may not be excluded or limited under UAE law.
• Nothing in these Terms affects, waives, or reduces any mandatory right you have as a consumer under applicable UAE consumer-protection law, including your right to claim compensation for personal or material damage where the law grants it. Any provision of these Terms that conflicts with such a mandatory right is ineffective to the extent of that conflict, and the remainder of these Terms continues to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use our service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Changes apply prospectively: the version of these Terms in effect when you purchase a service continues to govern that purchase, except where a change is required by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our service is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.
